Seeing the Unseen

I arise today and do the next thing.

My duty is clear...
Honor the King.

Many things I desire,
Those things though are known...
By the One Who sits upon the Great Throne.

Things hoped for, not yet seen;
If they were, there'd be no reason to hope.
For why hope for something already gleaned?

But I see the unseen, as if it were at my door.
Patienty, I know it will arrive, at the appointed time.
Not one minute late or before.

He knows my needs before I ask.
I will gratefully go about my day;
Do the next thing... and bask.
